Workshop presenting the feasibility of using Peer Instruction in Cegeps and its effectiveness in promoting learning.
Many factors raised by Faculty to explain their reluctance or even their resistance to IT integration can be linked to a behaviourist approach to teaching and learning. These arguments mostly involve workload, limited variety and benefits of IT, etc. A successful integration of IT in education must involve a learning-based approach and a comprehensive professional development strategy.
