Cmap Tools: a Concept Mapping Software

Cmap Tools is a concept mapping software that can be used by teachers or students. A concept map is a diagram showing the relationships among concepts. Concepts are connected with labelled arrows, in a downward-branching hierarchical structure. The relationship between concepts is articulated in linking phrases, e.g., "gives rise to", "results in", "is required by," or "contributes to".

FreeMind: a Mind Mapping Software

FreeMind is a free Open Source mind-mapping software written in Java, which means you can run it on Mac, Windows or Linux platforms. Teachers and students can use it to generate, visualize, structure and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.
