In response to the growing use of the Internet by teachers, the Department of Canadian Heritage, working together with Canada’s museums, will be launching the pilot initiative Agora- The VMC Learning Centre in March 2007. This addition to the Virtual Museum of Canada Web site (www.virtualmuseum.ca/agora) will make available the latest generation of online tools and resources for social and collaborative learning.
Developed in order to foster the sharing and exchange of Learning Resources, Eureka currently includes over 7,000 online resources: graphics, simulations, animations, dynamic exercises, pedagogical scenarios, and more! Teachers and pedagogical advisors are invited to join ICT partners in the cegep’s network by contributing resources to Eureka. Take part in the development of a common educational heritage while benefiting from handpicked Learning Resources.
