To promote and support the integration of
Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in education.

Created in 1992 further to an agreement between the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) du Québec and Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne, La Vitrine Technologie-Éducation’s mission is to promote and support the integration of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in education.

Its mandate is threefold:

• Provide research and constant up-to-date information on the latest innovations in the field of ICT for the benefit of teaching staff and educational advisors in Quebec’s college network and elsewhere;
• Enhance our educational heritage by referencing Teaching and Learning Resources (TLR);
• Support educational institutions by encouraging group software purchases and raising awareness about copyright and free software (tools and software).
